Facem Streaming Rules
Version 1.0 · Effective June 16, 2026
1. Purpose & Scope
1.1. Facem encourages players and coaches to stream their matches to create content and grow the scene. These rules cover streaming your own point of view of a match, whether you are a player streaming your gameplay or a coach streaming the coach point of view.
1.2. These rules do not cover casting a match from the in-game observer slot, which shows the full game. That is reserved for accredited casters and is governed by the separate Caster & Observer Rules.
1.3. This policy supplements the Facem Platform Rules and Circuit Rules. Where they differ on streaming matters, this policy applies.
2. Who May Stream
2.1. Any player or coach on a roster may stream their own point of view of a match without asking for approval, as long as they follow these rules.
2.2. You may only stream your own client. Streaming another player's point of view, or the full-game observer view, is not permitted under these rules.
3. Broadcast Delay
3.1. A stream must run on a broadcast delay large enough that nothing shown on stream can reach the players in the match or affect its outcome.
3.2. The delay is mandatory. A player or coach who streams without a sufficient delay may be sanctioned, since live information leaking to either team compromises the match.
4. Conduct on Stream
4.1. Streams must respect the same conduct standards as the rest of the platform. There must be no harassment, hate speech, or targeted abuse of opponents, teammates, or anyone else.
4.2. You must not use your stream, its chat, or its viewers to pass information to players, coordinate against an opponent, or otherwise influence the match.
4.3. Respect your opponents. A stream is a showcase of the match and the circuit, not a platform to demean the other team.
5. Branding
5.1. Displaying the Facem logo (available in the brand kit) or crediting facem.gg on your stream is not required, but it is welcome and appreciated. It helps grow the circuit and its visibility, and gives every team more exposure.
6. Enforcement & Reporting
6.1. Streaming in breach of these rules, in particular streaming without a delay or leaking information, may lead to sanctions under the Circuit Rules, up to FP penalties or a forfeit.
6.2. A team that suspects a stream of affecting a match, leaking information, or breaking these rules should open a ticket on the Facem Discord server so the Admins can investigate. The Admins' decisions on streaming matters are final.
7. Changes & Versioning
7.1. This policy is versioned, with the current version shown at the top of this document. Material changes are published on facem.gg.
7.2. Continuing to stream after an update means accepting the updated policy.
By streaming a Facem match, you agree to do so in line with these rules.
