Facem Platform Rules

Version 1.0 · Effective June 16, 2026

1. Scope & Acceptance

1.1. These Rules apply to all access to and use of Facem, including team profiles, the seasonal Facem Points (FP) ladder, the reputation system, team invites, matches across the circuit, and all social spaces (threads and messages).

1.2. By creating an account, joining or representing a team, or otherwise using Facem, you agree to be bound by these Rules. If you do not accept them, you must not use the platform.

1.3. These Rules apply to you individually and to the teams you represent. Captains and team representatives are responsible for ensuring their members understand and follow these Rules.

1.4. These Rules supplement, and do not replace, any additional terms, policies, or competition-specific regulations published by Facem. Where a specific competition or league ruleset applies, both sets of rules are in effect together.

2. One Account Per Person & Accurate Identity

2.1. Each person may hold and use exactly one Facem account. Authentication is handled through Discord or Google; you must use an account that genuinely belongs to you.

2.2. You must provide and maintain an accurate Riot ID that corresponds to the account you actually play on. Your Riot ID must reflect your true in-game identity within the platform.

2.3. You are responsible for keeping your identity information current. If your Riot ID changes, you must update it promptly so that your platform identity remains accurate.

2.4. Providing false, misleading, or borrowed identity information - including a Riot ID you do not control - is a violation of these Rules.

3. Account Sharing & Impersonation

3.1. Your Facem account is personal to you. You must not share, lend, sell, transfer, or allow anyone else to access or use your account.

3.2. You must not access or use anyone else's Facem account, whether or not you have their permission.

3.3. You must not impersonate another person, player, team, staff member, or organization, and you must not misrepresent your affiliation or role within a team.

3.4. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Account sharing does not excuse any conduct carried out through your account.

4. Conduct in Social Spaces

4.1. Facem provides social spaces - including threads and direct messages between teams - to coordinate matches and build the community. Use them respectfully.

4.2. The following are prohibited in all social spaces and anywhere on the platform:

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, intimidation, or targeted abuse of any person or team.
  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
  • Spam, flooding, unsolicited advertising, scams, phishing, or repetitive disruptive messaging.
  • Sexually explicit, violent, or otherwise illegal or harmful content.
  • Sharing malicious links, malware, or attempts to compromise other users.

4.3. Communicate with opponents in good faith. Coordination around scheduling, match details, and results should be honest, civil, and constructive - win or lose.

4.4. Disagreements happen. Keep them respectful and resolve disputes through the appropriate channels rather than through abuse or public pile-ons.

5. Fair Use of the Reputation System

5.1. The reputation system (covering punctuality, fair play, and communication) exists to help teams build trust across the circuit. It depends on honest, good-faith feedback.

5.2. Ratings and reputation feedback must reflect your genuine experience of an actual interaction or match with the team you are rating.

5.3. The following are prohibited:

  • Retaliatory ratings intended to punish a team for an unrelated reason, a lost match, or a dispute.
  • False or fabricated ratings, including reviews of teams you never actually faced or interacted with.
  • Coordinated rating manipulation, including collusion between teams to inflate or deflate reputation scores.
  • Using ratings to threaten, blackmail, or pressure another team.

5.4. The reputation system is for honest assessment of conduct and reliability - not a weapon. Abuse of the system is treated as a serious violation.

6. Cheating, Exploits & Platform Integrity

6.1. You must not cheat, exploit, or otherwise undermine the integrity of Facem or its competitions.

6.2. The following are prohibited at the platform level:

  • Exploiting bugs, glitches, or vulnerabilities in Facem instead of reporting them.
  • Manipulating the FP ladder or seasonal ranking through fake matches, result-fixing, sandbagging, or any artificial means.
  • Falsifying, tampering with, or misreporting match results, scores, or evidence.
  • Using bots, scripts, automation, or unauthorized tools to interact with the platform or gain an unfair advantage.
  • Circumventing suspensions, bans, or other enforcement measures.

6.3. In-game conduct (such as cheating within Valorant itself) is governed by Riot Games' rules. However, where such conduct affects fairness on Facem, it may also lead to enforcement under these Rules.

6.4. If you discover a bug or vulnerability, report it to Facem rather than exploiting it. Responsible disclosure is appreciated and protected.

7. Smurfing & Alternate Accounts

7.1. Smurfing - using an account that does not reflect your true skill level in order to gain an unfair advantage on the circuit - is prohibited.

7.2. You must not create or use alternate accounts ("alts") to:

  • Circumvent these Rules, a suspension, or a ban.
  • Manipulate the FP ladder, seasonal ranking, or reputation system.
  • Misrepresent the skill level of a team or its players.
  • Evade accountability for your conduct.

7.3. Teams are expected to field their genuine rosters. Fielding ringers, undisclosed substitutes, or players misrepresenting their identity or skill compromises the fairness of the league and is a violation of these Rules.

8. Privacy & Others' Information

8.1. Respect the privacy of other players and teams. You must not collect, store, or share another person's private information without their clear consent.

8.2. Doxxing - publishing or threatening to publish someone's private or identifying information (such as real name, address, phone number, workplace, or private accounts) - is strictly prohibited.

8.3. Do not share private conversations, messages, or screenshots from Facem social spaces in a way intended to harass, intimidate, or expose another person.

8.4. Only information a team or player has chosen to make public on their Facem profile is intended to be public. Treat everything else as private.

9. Enforcement & Facem's Authority

9.1. Facem is responsible for upholding these Rules and may take action against any account, team, or member that violates them.

9.2. Depending on the nature and severity of a violation, and any history of prior violations, enforcement may include:

  • A warning.
  • Removal or adjustment of content, ratings, FP, or ranking.
  • Temporary suspension of an account or team.
  • Permanent ban of an account, team, or associated accounts.
  • Forfeiture of matches, results, or standings.

9.3. Facem may take action with or without prior warning where a violation is serious, ongoing, or poses a risk to other users or to the integrity of the platform.

9.4. Facem has final authority over the interpretation and application of these Rules, including decisions relating to the ladder, the circuit, reputation, and competitive standings. Facem aims to act fairly, consistently, and proportionately.

9.5. Enforcement of one violation does not waive Facem's right to act on any other violation, past or future.

10. Changes to These Rules

10.1. Facem may update these Rules from time to time to reflect changes to the platform, the league, legal requirements, or community needs.

10.2. When the Rules are updated, the version number and effective date at the top of this document will change.

10.3. Material changes will be communicated through the platform. Your continued use of Facem after an update constitutes re-acceptance of the updated Rules. Where required, you may be asked to explicitly re-accept the Rules before continuing to use the platform.

10.4. If you do not agree to an updated version of these Rules, you must stop using Facem.

By using Facem, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Platform Rules.
